Yes, as far as I'm concerned that is the only way to read Revelation well. J. Nelson Kraybill wrote a great chapter in my first book about reading revelation nonviolently as well as a book on the topic that are both worth reading. Thank you for teaching what too many pastors either don't understand (largely willful ignorance in my observation) or don't have the courage to teach Revelation in this way.
